Organization Management

Luna provides an organization management feature to simplify collaborative work and ensure correct permissions within teams. With multiple users accessing the same Luna license, you can manage user roles and permissions effectively. Specifically, Luna’s “Group” feature allows you to assign multiple users to a single group, where data and quantum backend access can be managed by designated administrators.

By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to:

  1. Create and manage your organization.
  2. Create groups and add users to specific groups.
  3. Control QPU token access within groups.

Managing Your Organization

When you acquire a Luna license, you can add multiple users to your organization. To add, edit, or remove users, please contact us directly through your preferred method.

Managing Groups

A group in Luna is a designated set of users within your organization. Each user can be assigned to one group, and you may create multiple groups within your organization. To create, edit, or delete groups and assign users to them, please reach out to us directly.

Each group can have one or more administrators. Administrators have the ability to set, edit, or remove QPU tokens within a group. All users in the group can then access the associated quantum backend using this token, without the ability to view, modify, or otherwise manage it. This setup ensures that token access is restricted to authorized users within the group, maintaining full control over its usage and preventing the need to share QPU tokens through potentially insecure channels. With this feature, token management becomes seamless and secure.

For detailed instructions on managing QPU tokens for your group, please refer to our guide on Managing Group Tokens.
